Brockley Way – Resurfacing

I’m sure Bromley based cyclists who are regular commuters into Central London along Route 22 will be delighted to learn that after long and loud requests from the local cycling groups, Brockley Way is being resurfaced.

This has to be one of the very worst sections of road in the capital which is heavily used by cyclists as they come off the shared use bridge over the railway by Honor Oak Crematorium heading towards Peckham Rye.

Last November I attended a Traffic Law Enforcement Conference in Southwark and spoke to the Southwark Councillor in attendance. He assured me that this section of road was due for resurfacing so it appears that he is as good as his word. Unfortunately I cannot now recall his name.
