The second meeting of the Forum.
In attendances were representatives from: London Borough of Bromley, Bromley Cyclists, Beckenham Rugby Cyclists, Cycle ReCycle, Lollipop Events, Orpington BID, Panagua Bikes, Radcliffe, the Metropolitan Police and Southeastern (railway).

Councillors have recommended the draft LBB – Cycling Strategy should go out to consultation in May.
The LBB website cycling pages are under review, they will be updated and enhanced to include a bespoke cycling events calendar for the benefit of, and led by, the cycling community in Bromley.
A Fix my Streets style e-form is being considered to enable cyclists to easily report signage and route problems in the borough.
The Council has audited the recommended cycling routes in the Borough (Bromley-Crystal Palace, Bromley- Greenwich, Bromley-Orpington, Petts Wood-St Mary Cray and Bromley-Croydon). A number of improvements – mostly lining and surfacing – have been commissioned and will be implemented over the coming weeks.
There is to be a review of cycle signage in the borough.

The police reported on Operation Safeway targeting law-breaking motorists and cyclists.
Cycle ReCycle the project to restore old bicycles for distribution to people who might not otherwise have access to a bike were in desperate need of volunteer bike mechanics to assist in their work.
Cycle Sundays will take place in Norman Park every Sunday from 26 April – 27 September from 10am to 2pm.
