I expect the weather forecast put many people off of this ride, but three of us set off from Bromley South at 7.30pm and a nice downhill down Bromley Hill to start.

Then we picked up the girls from Catford Bridge and guess what, the girls outnumbered the guys again on tonight’s ride up to London.   The weather was fine and at a somewhat brisk pace, some might even say a gallop, we made our way to London Bridge, via the Waterlink Way.

Down Old Street we cycled, Steve as usual guiding us skillfully through the traffic.   Then, locking up our bikes, we found a table and settled down for a relaxing hour of chat, drink and food.  Very quite in the cafe tonight, must have been the weather, it did actually rain, but we managed to miss it.

On the way home we were persuaded to venture over Tower Bridge for a change and then on to Brockley before leaving the girls at Catford Bridge.

The rest of us now went on to Bromley HIll and back home to Petts Wood and Orpington.
