Space for Cycling ‘Ward Ask Survey’

As many of you may have seen, the London Cycling Campaign survey is now live and we are encouraging all members and supporters to take part. It is accessible here: This survey asks people what specific cycling actions/asks they would like to see in their local area, and asks people for their main concerns in relation to the 6 policy themes of the campaign – this could be in relation to where they live, where they work or study, or on their commute.

Please do encourage group members, friends and family to do take part. You don’t have to be a cyclist, obviously, we are keen to hear the views of a wide range of people. The more input we can get, the more representative the campaign demands will be. If you complete the survey, you’re in with a chance to win a brand new Pinnacle bike!

The survey will be open until Thursday 12th December 2013.

The results will be analysed and a list of suggested ward asks will be sent to our group coordinator. This will hopefully be before Christmas, but if not, very early in January. Bromley Cyclists will assess this list and then prepare the detailed ‘ask’. Still keeping the ward asks within one of the 6 policy themes.

In February we will hold a meeting for all LCC members in our borough and to which the public will also be welcome whereby the final list of ward asks will be ratified and agreed. Before being sent to all candidates in the May local elections, with request for them to adopt our asks as policy and something they will support if elected.

We would welcome any help with this campaign, if you think you would like to to join in then please contact us at or you can check the box when you complete the survey.
