It was very good weather, clear and crisp as we made our way by train to Otford for the beginning of our ride, a moderate paced 40 miler.

Riding through the beautiful Kent countryside, featuring some lovely villages, we rode along country lanes and minor roads as we conquered hill… after hill… after hill!

We visited the Winterdale Shaw Cheese makers, where we purchased some of their award winning Cheddar, which proved to be rather good quality.

We stopped for lunch at a rustic pub, before heading back to Eynsford for drinks at the end of our ride. Thank you to everyone who came on our ride, I am sure we will be repeating this ride in the future.
