80% of the riders tonight were ladies again, maybe because it had turned colder and our main man had the dreaded ‘man flu’, what us girls would call a slight cold.  Off we headed in the direction of Hayes and onto Barnet Wood Road and then Oakley Road where we turned towards Princes Plain.   Here there is a nice little short cut across the recreation ground which would bring us out in Southborough Lane.

Off towards Jubilee Park now for a bit more traffic free stuff and then around the back of Crofton Woods, Lovibonds, Tugmutton Common, Farnborough Park and Ye Olde White Lion.   Here we were joined by Mark and Tony which boosted the men a bit and we spent the rest of the evening chatting and discussing what we had planned for the coming weekend.

Time flies when you’re having fun they say and before we knew it it was 11.00pm and time to prepare for our ride home.  Luckily for me it was a short one and a dash through the woods made it even shorter as the odd flakes of snow were beginning to fall.
