I would look to be leaving Bromley South Station at 07:30 – or thereabouts , precise details to be arranged between myself and anyone who wants to be introduced to a rather good route to Docklands .
We’ll arrange a day/days at least 24 hours in advance to suit both parties , please avoid ringing me after 22:00
The overall distance will be 11:5 miles ( approx ) – we start off by going down to Shortlands , then along to the old Garden Gate pub in Downham , avoiding all main routes . We swing off towards Beckenham Hill at this point and then ascend up to Sedgehill School – before swooping down to the Waterlink Way – which we follow as far as Ladywell . A Little bit of road riding here before we again follow the Ravensbourne up to Deptford , from Deptford – a little stretch of quiet road before we hit the riverside at Greenwich and thence into the Greenwich Foot Tunnel . Unfortunately bikes have to be carried up and down stairs , until September 2011 . Once in Docklands we’ll find your office and then I’ll away to mine .
After work – if our leaving times coincide ( roughly ) I’ll do the journey back to Bromley with you .
My normal commuting time is 75 minutes ( approx )
