Membership
Bromley Cyclists is a borough group of the London Cycling Campaign (LCC).
Our members are encouraged to become members of the LCC and support its work to make cycling more enjoyable.
Campaigning
Although we are under the LCC umbrella, we do not usually actively involve ourselves in the campaigns. We are here to make cycling enjoyable for you and for us.
We do support the LCC campaigns, because they are designed to improve our cycling lot. But we are not the sort of group that goes on demonstrations or things of that nature. However, many of us supported the Ride London where thousands of us rode their bikes through the streets of London to draw attention to the needs of cyclists in the capital.
Some of us assisted gathering over 40,000 signatures on the LCC ‘Love London, Go Dutch’ campaign petition. The petition was handed into City Hall just prior to the mayoral election. As a result of this activity all the candidates agreed to support the key proposals if elected.
Most of all though, we’re about riding bikes. So why not join us on one of our rides?
