The Tour de Penge has become a regular part of the Penge festival. The ride will meet at Penge Recreation Ground, SE20 7HQ for registration from 9.00am, with a start time for the ride of 10.00am (This is a corrected start time and is earlier than in previous years).
Bromley’s biggest family bike ride!!!!!! Ride along the Waterlink Way to Greenwich for a picnic in the park. Please bring your picnic with you. This will be a slow, family ride, all welcome. Kent House, Penge East and Penge West (Overground) Railway Stations are nearby for alternative convenient access.
There will be a Dr. Bike mechanic (thanks to Bromley Council) and pre event activities at ‘Registration’ so please come early to join the fun and get your bike bike checked.
After the initial mass group ride to Cator Park riders will set off in smaller groups with an allocated Ride Guide. There will be different paced groups to cover the range of fitness and ability levels, ensuring a smooth ride for all. From Cator Park we will cycle along the wonderful traffic free Waterlink Way via the new ‘cycling friendly’ bridge over Deptford Creek to Greenwich for our picnic in the grounds of the old Royal Naval College. After that we will be cycling back to Cator Park for post ride activities and refreshments.
