What heroic fantastic riders you all were, undaunted by the cold and rain – riding in to the unknown! Well congratulations on making it to Brighton – with both rides completed in a fantastic spirit.

 You may like to know we had 45 riders over the two groups, the faster group taking 8 hours (after 5 punctures on route) and the slower group taking 9 1/4 hours (again after 5 punctures on route!). A really big thank you to those who helped support the ride as guides, marshals and as part of the puncture repair teams – so thanks to Peter, Steve, Geoff, Sean, Sam, Patrick, Michael, Spencer and Conrad (hope I have remembered you all!). Also a really big thank you to everyone at the Bigfoot Club for the organisation – and especially the chocolate cake!

Especially well done to the younger riders, our youngest being Jack, very well done.
